Kathy, this course has been WONDERFUL to go through during IVF. Each week seemed to line up perfectly with the phases of IVF. Lucky me! I have had positive pregnancy tests for several days now (I’m 8dp5dt) and have really been more tuned into my self-awareness, self-care needs and activities, optimal communication with my husband and friends, and protective of my space (both in life and online) for incubating embryos since taking your course. A month ago I enrolled myself in a Well Conceive course .I found Kathy to be a lovely person , sharing and caring for each of the course participants ,navigate and teach us different technics for stress management and mindfulness .I have gone trough all the exercise and lessons to help me manage the daily stress and build a better me. I believe that these are critical skills for achieving our goals with greater clarity of mind, without losing our sense of humor or our health along the journey. I can add from my own personal experience that I am able to deal more effectively with difficult situations and people, as well as with my workload. Well Conceived Stress Management was a surprise for me. I’m not sure what I was expecting, maybe more of the same old techniques, but I didn’t get that! What I was exposed to were some new coping techniques for me They ranged from mindfulness, breathing to journaling. The course is designed around the stress of conceiving but really anyone can benefit from what Kathy offers. We acknowledged we are all dealing with stress and how to recognise the signs in ourselves and others. One of my biggest takeaways was noting my positives and negatives and actions I can take and even better what I already know! The courses is broken down into easy to follow modules, with each one building on the one before. Plus I got to interact with terrific individuals through our Facebook Group. Kathy came into my life when It was most needed, I was dubious as to how the course could me out of the sinking hole I was getting myself into with my negative thoughts and emotions and anxieties, at one of the toughest points in my life. Nevertheless the techniques, skills and self-learning Kathy taught me has been incredible and invaluable to say the least, I have learned so much about myself and how important it is to manage stress, ways to recognise it and in others and arm me with survival techniques for life. Making lists and strategising plans also helped me see the light. Kathy has been a tower of strength throughout offering help support with her love and kindness she is an incredible caring lady. I just wanted drop you a line and firstly thank you this course to me. I got so much out of it, especially while I’m currently going through my ivf journey. During your course I had my second miscarriage and your course technique’s I learnt really helped me. I’m now two weeks past miscarriage and already got a smile on my face. It still hurts but your course has made me look at life and my partner in a more positive way. Sex is no longer about a baby for us it’s fun.
